HELLO! :D holidays have arrived. FINALLY. i get to rest well. however, probably not THAT well since i'll need to go back to school on the 1st 2 weeks of holidays for extra lessons.
Hmm, there's business competition and STAMP competition i have with me this holiday.
busy busy me! in addition, i have a journalistic workshop to attend on 6th and 13th of June, both saturdays. I'm really wondering, why did Ms joyce tan want to include me, of all people in our class? (there's like 6 more ppl going with me as well, fyi)
Weird isnt it? First thing, I'm definitely not an ENGLISH person. by ENGLISH, i mean that i am never good in writing or comprehending. in short, i just suck when it comes to ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
Then, there's dance on the last week of holidays. ALL five days. cos we'll be having a performance on 1st july once school reopens. And, we'll haveto miss lessons for the WHOLE DAY!!! how great is that? .......
Not great AT ALL. i dont know what my timetable will be. But then, if i have to miss PHYSICS lessons( that is, if there is), Maths, Chemistry and other lessons, im telling ya, PLEASE DONT include me in the performance. i wouldnt want to miss them all!!
I HAVE TO DO WELL IN TERM 3 in order to pull up my grades!!!
GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Enough of that. I'm beginning to have the "homework" mood. so i'll probably be starting some of them soon. like tonight? I'll start off with chemistry textbook questions first. (:
then after, to english compre, then maths modulus worksheet. Cos we'll be going back for extra lessons for these subjects soon. most of them this week. (:
Speaking of results, got report book back on Friday. well, didnt really expect the position and results. and at the same time, had quite a shock myself too. I was initially quite happy. but then, while i talked to kah ching, meng and bell, i felt that this whole " failing English and you go below" is kinda unfair. Even though i know ENGLISH is a SUPER important subject, it's really unfair. Just by a 0.1, 0.2 or 0.3 marks, your results will be marked as " FAILED". Like, so unfair can!
That is why, i have to really buck up on my language and pray that i can do well in the next semester for ALL my subjects.
One thing i can't take lying down, THOSE TWO C5 i got for my physics and chemistry. GAH!!!!
I dont know is i really dont understand them, or is it my part on carelessness. BUT, i know i knew how to do them! somehow, when the questions come out, i'll just, i dont know, blank out or something? my parents say im just too nervous. I think not. I think i really really dont understand the sciences, even though i feel i understand, which is why, i must make myself understand them ALL!! ALL- chemistry, physics, history, maths, a maths, Geography, English, HCL.
next up, friday went for sihui's sister, yixuan's bbq. ste quite a lot of satays. HEHE, even though i shouldn't be. After the bbq, parents fetched me and off we go to Uncle's house.
Then to the airport. They're going, somewhere far, somewhere you have to take a 14hour plane, somewhere i would want to go next time, somewhere where there's H1N1 case... That somewhere is.. SCANDINAVIA! but then they took the plane to COPENHAGEN, which i heard was somewhere in SCANDINAVIA or something?
I heard their itinery was something like, from Denamark, drive to sweden, then after that drive to Norway then to Finland and then back to Denmark!!!! the whole trip take about 14-16 days, which is LONG, considering my longest overseas trip was only 10 days?
WOW, my two little cousins, aged 8 & 9 are SUPER fortunate. hope to go there sometime. With my own money.
Saturday went to lixuan's house to do chinese project. No no, it should be: " Saturday went to lixuan's house SUPPOSEDLY for chinese project." yeah... that sounds correct. why? they were playing with hotel 626 and some other games. I was COMPLETELY TRAUMATIZED by the game. cos it was horror. well, we spent one third of our time researching but somehow, our 5-min break became a 3hour plus, 4 hour long break. haha. so, now, i have to do the starting. XD wish me luck (:
At night, had dinner at 9.15pm. unhealthy time for dinner XD after which, we went to my brother's school to fetch him(he was there as an usher) cos their school had a dance concert entitled" DANZAGE" in DHS performing arts theatre, i think. oh, did i mention their school was BIG, GIGANTIC, and any-word-that-describes-SUPER-big. the size of their HOSTEL alone, is our ENITRE school's size. So, can you imagine how big their school is?? Their canteen has 16 stalls, which is TWICE that of ours. In short, Dunman High School is totally, wickedly, gigantically, HUGE! how i envy their students of that. :D
NO TUITION TODAY! :D oh, i so needed this.
